.... to Barb Senneff for scoring a Hole in One on Hole #4 on Thursday, June 25th during ILGA league play!!
Cathy Engen, Sylvia Lyon, and Glo Malmberg are June entrants to the Score for the Ages honor roll. The honor roll recognizes players whose gross score is equal, or less than their age during weekly league play. The honor roll is on the Members Information page.
UPCOMING EVENTS
The final Summer League event is at Palo Verde on Sept. 16, with a 7:30 a.m. shotgun start. The cost is $18. Registration opens in August..
Hola! Our ILGA Member-Guest event will be a fiesta of fun, food, games, gifts, golf and prizes. La Fiesta starts on Wednesday, Dec. 2, at 4 p.m. at Grill on the Green, where we will welcome you to a South of the Border party with cocktails, games, treats and a musical performance. Thursday, Dec. 3, starts with coffee and donuts during registration, participant gifts, golf, a Mexican-themed lunch and door prizes.
The game of the day is a 2-person team with the best net on the first 9 holes and a shamble on the back 9. We will have some special opportunities at certain holes. Teams are assigned into 6 flights with multiple team prizes awarded within each flight.
Guests must have an official handicap index with AGA or other recognized agency. The team stroke differential can be no more than 10. ILGA handicap-only members can be guests, but ILGA full members cannot be guests.
The cost is $180 per team, and a copy of the application form is attached. The form is also on the ILGA website on the Special Events page under the Member-Guest tab. You may pay by check or Zelle at Ironwoodlgatreasurer@gmail.com . Please drop your completed application with check, if using one, in the ILGA cash box or mail to Mary Jane Boscombe 24633 S Cedarcrest Drive, Sun Lakes AZ 85248.
A Golf Genius invitation will be sent in November. This process adds the team information into the Golf Genius tournament roster. The application and fee should have already been submitted.
