...to Karen Simon for scoring her FIRST hole in one on Thursday, February 26th!! Karen aced Hole #8 from 134 yards with her 5 Wood!!
2026 Club Champion - Peggy Cooper who shot a low gross score of 273 over the 3-day tournament. Complete results and all Flight winners are on the Special Events page.
ILGA Travel Team - for finishing in first place for the 2025-2026 East Valley Travel Team season! The final match and trophy presentation took place Wednesday, February 11th at Sunbird. Participants were: Lynda Jones, Amanda McLoone, Dianne McCauley, Janet Barnett, Karen Bustillo, Sue Olson, Julie Clausen and Judy Kirschenbaum.
Final Scores were: Ironwood 229.0; Palo Verde 223.0; Sun Lakes 218.5; and Sunbird 193.5.
Thanks to all the ladies who volunteered and participated in this year's team events! Everyone contributed to bringing home the trophy for the first time since 2007!
Sharon Bowditch, Cathy Engen, Roselyn Hoiby and Glo Malmberg are February entrants to the Score for the Ages honor roll. The honor roll recognizes players whose gross score is equal, or less than their age during weekly league play. The honor roll is on the Members Information page.
UPCOMING EVENTS
ILGA's annual charity event, Swing for Hope, will begin with raffle ticket sales starting on Thursday, March 5th and end with a golf tournament and luncheon on April 2nd. This event directly benefits the University of Arizona's Cancer Center in its efforts to cure cancer. The Announcement and Donation Forms can be found on the Special Events page.

The annual PICO tournament, with participants from Palo Verde, Ironwood, Cottonwood and Oakwood, will be held April 14th and 21st at Oakwood and Palo Verde. You can view the event overview on the Special Events page. Members will receive a formal invite from Golf Genius in early March to electronically register for the tournament.
