CONGRATULATIONS!
There will be no entrants to the Score for the Ages honor role in October. The honor rolls lists players whose gross score is equal or less than their age during a weekly tournament and is on the Members Information page of the ILGA website.
Dari Akins (gross score) and Julie Clausen (net score) are our State Medallion winners for 2025. They will represent ILGA at the state event on January 9-11 at Oakwood.
2026 Election of Officers
ILGA will elect officers for 2026 prior to the single morning shotgun on Thursday, Nov. 20. The slate of candidates is:
President – Sue Olson
Vice President – Karen Simon
Treasurer – Sharon Behm
Secretary – Vickie Scott
Any member, who would like to be a candidate for any of the above positions, should contact either Sue Pederson sue_pederson@icloud.com or Peggy Cooper coop4tp@gmail.com .
UPCOMING EVENTS
We have 4 major events in November.: Low Net tournament, election of officers, Low Net awards luncheon and a holiday scramble with IMGA.
The Low Net Tournament will be on Nov. 13 and Nov. 20. Participants can play either the morning or afternoon shotgun on Nov. 13. and in the single morning shotgun on Nov. 20. Sign up is through Golf Genius, and the details are on the Special Events website page under Low Net or in the Ironwood Club Room bulletin board.
The Low Net Awards luncheon will follow play on Nov. 20. We will have a chicken parmesan buffet for $28, including tax and tip. The sign-up deadline is Nov. 13. Details are posted on the bulletin board in the Ironwood Club Room and on the Special Events website page under Low Net.
The Election of Officers will take place before the Nov. 20 shotgun. The slate of officers is posted above.
The ILGA/IMGA holiday scramble will take place during the IMGA 12:15 p.m. shotgun on Nov. 25. The deadline for this free event is Nov. 20. Details and the sign-up sheet are in the Ironwood Club Room. Players will not be paired with their partners.
Our Member-Guest event is Thursday, Dec. 4, preceded by a pajama party with Karaoke Meet and Greet gathering at Grill on the Green. Grab your bestie and walk down Candy Cane Lane for food, fun and prizes. The registration application is on the Special Events website page under Member Guest.
