UPCOMING EVENTS
SWING FOR HOPE -
- Our Charity Raffle will be back at ILGA next Thursday, March 13, with ticket sales ($5 for 5 tickets, $10 for 15 tickets). We have golf packages, gift certificates for Stone and Barrel as well as for services from San Tan Golf Carts and Greulich’s Automotive, adult beverage baskets, artisan baskets and other specialty items. Tickets will be available for sale before both the morning and afternoon shotguns. Contributions for raffle items are gratefully accepted.
- A Donation Station for individual contributions will be available every Thursday in March before both shotguns. All proceeds go to the University of Arizona Cancer Center (UAF/UACC) for research on a cure for all types of cancer. With the help of our community, ILGA has raised over $191,000 since 1997. We will build a Tribute Garden full of colorful pinwheels to memorialize those who have fought cancer and whom donors want to honor. Each pinwheel will include the names of those honorees. The pinwheels will be placed in the flower bed just past the fire pits at Ironwood. Donation forms are available on the ILGA website Special Events page under Swing for Hope or in the Ironwood club room.
- A Special luncheon will conclude activities on Thursday, April 3. Elaine Cunningham will attend to accept ILGA's donation to the University of Arizona Cancer Research Center and to give us an update on the center's efforts.
- Players sign up on Chelsea for our single shotgun at 9 a.m. on April 3. There will be some surprises in our game of the day. More information to come.
