CONGRATULATIONS!
...to Karen Simon for scoring her FIRST hole in one on Thursday, February 26th!! Karen aced Hole #8 from 134 yards with her 5 Wood!!
Sharon Bowditch, Mary Dyrseth, Cathy Engen, Roselyn Hoiby, Sylvia Lyon and Glo Malmberg are March entrants to the Score for the Ages honor roll. The honor roll recognizes players whose gross score is equal, or less than their age during weekly league play. The honor roll is on the Members Information page.
UPCOMING EVENTS
ILGA's annual charity event, Swing for Hope, began with raffle ticket sales on Thursday, March 5th and ends with a golf tournament and luncheon on April 2nd. This event directly benefits the University of Arizona's Cancer Center in its efforts to cure cancer. The Announcement, Donation Forms and Luncheon Flyer can be found on the Special Events page.
Karen Simon is coordinating the event and looking for volunteers to help with donations and raffle ticket sales. Please contact Karen at karensimon50@gmail.com or (623) 268-1327 with any questions.
The annual PICO tournament, with participants from Palo Verde, Ironwood, Cottonwood and Oakwood, will be held April 14th and 21st at Oakwood and Palo Verde. You can view the event overview on the Special Events page. The deadline for registration is March 31st. Members can register through Golf Genius using the code PICO26.
